Nursery admissions: First list today

New Delhi: If you are a parent of a 3-4 year-old seeking nursery admissions then this is it. The first list of admissions will be announced by schools in the Capital today.  

For nursery admissions, schools in the city follow a 100-point system with award points for factors like siblings studying in the same school, neighbourhood, alumni, girl child or first born.

But with the Delhi government insisting that parents' profession or educational qualification cannot be a criteria for nursery admissions, many are worried their children will get a raw deal due to this 'last minute' decision.
