Official killed in freak mishap in Mathura Refinery

Mathura: A senior official of the Mathura Refinery was killed in a freak mishap inside the plant when he was going to inspect cleaning work.

The production manager of the refinery, Salauddin Khan, was run over by Hydra, a special type of carrier inside the refinery, which is at present closed for annual maintenance.

"The driver of the Hydra carrier has been taken into custody, along with the carrier. It is an accidental death," Deputy Superintendent of Police Mukul Dwivedi said.

The body has been sent for postmortem, he added.
