Officials stop leakage of ammonia in Bangalore dairy

Bangalore: Leakage of ammonium at a maintenance unit of Bangalore dairy unit on Monday was stopped immediately after it was detected, official sources said.

Fireforce officials stopped the leakage within 15 minutes after it was noticed, Chief Fire Officer E U Erappa told PTI.

Three engineers who were inside the unit when the leak was noticed were immediately evacuated, he said.
