Bijnor:
One person was injured when a bag full of crackers exploded while it was being loaded into a three-wheeler tempo at Nehtaur in Bijnore, police said.
Driver Mohd Akram was injured because of the explosion and has been admitted to a hospital. The owner of the bag fled the scene leaving another bag of crackers behind, police sources added .
SHO Abdul Salaam said that the culprit would soon be nabbed.
Last year, too, on the occasion of Diwali, a woman and two children were killed while manufacturing fireworks in the district.
