Biharsharif:
One person was shot dead and two others injured in a shootout between rival groups in Mulnadih village under Chhabilapur police station area in Bihar's Nalanda district on Monday morning, a police official said.
"The rival groups of people fired upon each other following a dispute over land. A man identified as Wasi Ahmed, was killed in the shootout and two others sustained injuries," Deputy Superintendent of Police Pharesh Ram said.
The injured were admitted to a hospital in Rajgir. An investigation is underway and no arrest has been made as yet.
