Palampur:
The body of a jawan who disappeared during the 1962 war between India and China will finally be cremated in his home town Palampur in Himachal Pradesh.
Karm Chand Katosh of Himachal Pradesh, was a part of the Dogra regiment and disappeared in the mountains of Arunachal Pradesh during the 1962 war.
48 years later, his body was discovered in a glacier in Arunachal Pradesh.
He will be cremated in Palampur on Thursday with state honours.
