Kolkata:
A Deccan Charters flight with 12 people on board made an unscheduled landing at Kolkata airport today after one of its engines developed a technical fault mid-air.
Airport sources said the flight landed five minutes after its take-off at 7.05am when the pilot noticed a technical problem in the right engine.
All emergency preparations were made when the pilot of the aircraft bound for Jamshedpur wanted to land.
It had taken off from the airport at 7am. The plane was sent for repair on Wednesday and did not fly, sources said.
