Mumbai:
The Navi Mumbai Police have seized five school buses belonging to Congress corporator Santosh Shetty.
One of Shetty's buses was involved in the accident on Friday where a school bus he ran for the Delhi Public School crashed into another of the Seventh Day School.
Police found that the fitness certificate of Shetty's bus had expired and had not been renewed.
Nine children and two teachers were injured in the accident.
The seizures are part of the Navi Mumbai Police's investigation in improper running of school buses.
