Thane: In a bizarre incident, a pregnant woman from Diva in the district bit off her husband's ear in a fit of anger, police said on Friday.
Shilpa (36), the accused is married to Prabhakar Shekhambe (39) and the couple lives in Mumbai. Shilpa had shifted to her parents' house at Diva after she got pregnant.
On Wednesday night, when Prabhakar went to fetch her, a quarrel erupted between him and her brother, Soudhagar Torawmal.
He has been admitted to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Hospital of the Thane Municipal Corporation. Police are conducting further probe.
