Moga:
A prisoner escaped from a government hospital in Faridkot in the wee hours today after dodging police personnel guarding him, following which three officials, including a head constable, were suspended.
Gurvinder Singh, facing charges under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and an attempt to murder case, was lodged in Faridkot jail, police said.
He was produced before a local court in Moga yesterday where he complained that he was not feeling well and suddenly started vomiting, they said.

Considering his health condition, he was immediately rushed to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College, Faridkot for treatment, police said, adding, he dodged the cops guarding him and escaped at about 4:30 am today from the hospital.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the prisoner, they said.
