Ranchi:
A 45-year-old man set himself ablaze at a function organised by Union minister and Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay in Ranchi on Sunday.
The man, a Congress worker, was 50 metres away from the minister when he set fire to himself and began running towards the minister. And he did this without any formal warning.
Security personnel and Congress workers present at the function quickly got hold of the man and put out the flames.
The man has been hospitalised with nearly 40 per cent burn injuries.
