Twelve school children were stung by a swarm of bees near Jafarpur village in the district in Muzaffarnagar.
The incident occurred when children, returning from school, damaged the beehive of the bees on Thursday. Irked by it, the swarm of bees attacked and injured them, police said.
Of all of them, including two serious injured, were rushed to a hospital, they said.
