Bahraich:
A school teacher was arrested for allegedly trying to molest a 10-year-old girl inside the school premises in Nanpara area in Bahraich, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the girl's father, Micheal Yeshu alias Yashudas Baba, teacher and manager of St Peter Inter-College, tried to molest the child but failed as some people suddenly arrived there, they said.
A case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012 and other sections of the IPC has been registered against him, Deputy Superintendent of Police Aslam Khan said, adding that the accused was arrested yesterday.
