My Name is Khan has been at the receiving end of the Shiv Sena's ire for Shah Rukh's comments on Pakistani players in the IPL.

Thirteencinemas, including most of Mumbai's big multiplexes like Fun Cinemasand Inox, began screening the film by 12.30 pm. Two hours later, mostof Mumbai's multiplexes began showing the film. FromBerlin, a grateful Karan Johar, who has directed the film, tweeted "Amoverwhelmed and moved to tears with all the support our labour of loveis getting. Thank you. Thank you. Your hand on our head makes us." (Read: Berlin buys tickets @ 1000 euros each)
He also said the Sena never asked Shah Rukh to apologise to them, but had sought an apology to the nation.
