New Delhi:
Sixty-two-year-old Kevan Krishan, a Delhi resident, worked all his life and raised property so that his two sons and a daughter could live a comfortable life, even after he was gone.
The former businessman could have never imagined that the same property would become a threat to his life. It is not some land mafia or goons of a property dealer that are threatening Krishan, but his own son Vishal.
"Vishal wants all my property. He is a history-sheeter and has already grabbed one of my properties in Paharganj. He constantly threatens me that if I don't write my full property in his name, he would shoot me," Krishan alleged.
"I had also applied for police protection but the cops said they will investigate the charges against Vishal and then take a decision on it," said the senior citizen.
Vishal has married twice. His first wife Swati was living with Krishan when Vishal married Monika.
"Swati was residing with us with her two kids. I opened an LIC account in the name of her younger daughter Khushbu. But after some time Vishal convinced Swati to live with him. And now he is living with both of his wives at our flat in Paharganj. He withdrew Rs 1 lakh from the LIC account of my granddaughter by faking my signature on the cheque," he claimed.
Krishan further alleged that Vishal tried to kill his elder son Rajan in a rehabilitation centre in Nangloi where he was admitted to cure his alcoholism.
"This family often comes to the police station owing to their personal disputes. We are investigating and if any foul play is found we will take appropriate action," said a police officer.
