Ranchi: Two engineering students were beaten with sticks, rods and belts by their seniors ragging them at Ranchi's Cambridge Institute of Technology.
The two, Vikas and Jivesh, are in their third semester. They were reportedly beaten so badly they fainted. When they regained consciousness, the seniors beat them yet again.
Eight students have been suspended by the college administration.
