Indore:
A local court on Wednesday awarded life sentence to seven persons for murdering two cable operators in Indore in 2005.
The sentence was pronounced by Special Magistrate R K S Gautam, who convicted Sachin Kahar, Sanjay Kahar, Sunil Kahar, Rajesh Kahar, Subhash Tomar, Dheeraj Gupta and Mukesh Laxminarayan.
They were charged with murdering cable operator brothers Rajesh (30) and Raja Khatik (25) with sharp weapons in the Sadar area of Indore on February 6, 2005.
Rajesh and Raja were killed following a dispute over their cable business, according to the prosecution.
