Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh:
Seven persons, including four women, were on Thursday killed while 11 others injured when a passenger vehicle collided with a truck in Puwayan area of neighbouring Shahjahanpur district in Uttar Pradesh.
The mishap took place near Mahua Pathak village on Thursday evening, said L V Antony Devkumar, DIG Bareilly.
All the seven, including driver of the truck, died on the spot.
Identity of three victims has been established, which included a college principal Devesh Vaishya, truck driver Tillu and one Shama Gupta.
Efforts were on to establish the identity of rest of the deceased, the DIG said.
The injured have been admitted to a district hospital.
