Chitradurga:
Seven people were killed and another critically wounded when their car rammed into a stationary Earth excavator in the district on Monday.
The mishap occurred near Challakere town, police said adding the injured had been rushed to a hospital in Bangalore.
Four people died on the spot while three others at a hospital, police said.
