Badaun, Uttar Pradesh:
Seven members of a marriage party were on Wednesday killed and 66 others injured in a collision between two buses on Badaun-Delhi road in Badaun in Uttar Pradesh, police said.
A private bus carrying a marriage party from Banai village to Sahaswan collided with a bus near Mujaria village under Kotwali Ujhani police station area killing seven people including the driver, they said.
The deceased have been identified as Meharban (50), Zaheer (42), Anwar (39), Arman (21), Zaheer Alam (18), Arman Ali (25) and the driver Salim (50), district magistrate Chandra Prakash Tripathi said.
He said 62 injured passengers were admitted to local hospitals while four others, seriously injured, were rushed to Bareilly.
