Coimbatore: The Coimbatore police have intensified their search for a missing seven-year-old boy, who was kidnapped along with his sister on Friday.
The girl has been found dead in a river.
A former driver of their school van is alleged to have kidnapped them for ransom and later threw them into a river, 120 kilometres away from the city.
The police have arrested the accused driver who has apparently confessed that he threw the kids into the river.
The police say the accused could not establish contact with the parents and was scared that the children would expose him if left alive.
