Siliguri: Security personnel recovered an antique pistol from two persons at Bagodogra airport today as the duo were bound for a Delhi-bound flight.
Airport sources said Bu Sundariwal and H Chandra were intercepted after a 1890-make pistol was found in their possession.
As they could not produce any valid documents for the firearm after it was detected in x-ray machine, the two were taken into custody by airport security who later referred them to Bagdogra police.
The two, stated to be residents of North Bengal, were booked in a Go Air Bagdogra Guwahati-Delhi flight.
