Nayagarh:
At least six persons, including five school students, were killed and five others injured when a van carrying High School Certificate examinees collided with a truck in Odisha's Nayagarh district on Monday.
Around ten students, including girls of Sanpada High School, were returning after writing their papers at an examination centre in Nuagaon when the collision took place near Sanpada, about 17 km from Nayagarh, they said.
Five students, including three girls and the driver of the van, were killed while five others sustained injuries in the accident, police said adding the injured were admitted to a hospital nearby.
The condition of some of the injured students was stated to be serious. Investigation into the mishap was on.
