Rewari:
Six women were seriously injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling in collided with a mini truck on Rewari Bawal road, police said on Saturday.
The women, who belong to Farukh Nagar area of Gurgaon district, were seriously hurt in the collision near Arya Samaj Mandir in Jaliawas village, 8 kms from Rewari.
Sunita Devi (30), Bhagwani Devi (60), Santra Devi (60), Maya Devi (65) and Bhagwati Devi (40) were among those who sustained injuries, police said. They were admitted to a private hospital.
They were among a party going to Tihara village to condole the death of a relative.
Though the mini truck was later impounded by the police, the driver managed to flee the spot.
