Greater Noida:
A six-year-old boy was shot at by two unidentified persons at his rented accommodation in sector Delta in Greater Noida, police said on Monday.
Ayush was sitting in his room when two bike-borne assailants shot at him from a window at around 11.15 pm. The boy, who suffered bullet injuries in stomach and his left hand, was rushed to Sharda Hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable, Surajpur police said.
The victim's mother, Madhu Singh, has been living separate from her husband along with their two children for past five years. Police suspect a man who had approached Madhu several times in the past for establishing a relationship with her could be behind the attack.
Meanwhile, Madhu has lodged a complaint against some unidentified persons in this regard.
