Sonepat:
A veteran RSS leader and social activist Dr Ganpat Rai Batra has died in Sonepat, family sources said on Friday.
Batra died on Thursday evening. He was 94 and leaves behind five sons and two daughters.
A number of RSS workers and others paid their last respects to the late leader.
In accordance to his will, Batra's body was donated to the All India Institute fo Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi.
He was associated with a number of social and voluntary organisations related to the RSS and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad and worked for development of the poor and downtrodden.
