South Western Railway extends trains
Bangalore: The South Western Railway has extended Bangalore City-Hubli-Bangalore City Intercity Daily
Express to Dharwad from December 8 from Bangalore and Dharwad on December 9 to fulfill the demand of the public of Hubli-Dharwad.

A Railway press release said that Bangalore City-Dharwad Intercity Daily Express would depart from Bangalore City at 1300 hrs and arrive at Hubli at 2110 hrs. It would depart at 2115 hrs and arrive at Dharwad on 2150 hrs the same day with effect from December 8, a South Western Railway release said.

In the return direction, Dharwad-Bangalore City Intercity Daily Express would depart from Dharwad at 0515 hrs and arrive at Hubli at 0545 hrs. It would depart from Hubli at 0620 hrs and arrive at Bangalore city at 1400 hrs the same day from December 9, the release said.

Meanwhile, for clearance of traffic, South Western Railway has decided to run Hubli-Yeshwanthpur-Hubli Weekly Special on December 9, 16 and 23 from Hubli and from Yeshwanthpur on December 11, 18 and 25, the release said.

It said the Yeshwanthpur-Kochuveli-Yeshwanthpur Weekly Superfast Express has been introduced on Wednesdays from December 9 from Yeshwanthpur and from Kochuveli on December 10.

Accordingly, the Yeshwanthpur-Kochuveli weekly would depart from Yeshwanthur at 1515 hrs on Wednesdays from December 9 and arrive at Kochuveli at 0630 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, it would depart from Kochuveli at 1245 hrs on Thursdays from December 10 and arrive at Yeshwavanthpur at 0415 hrs the next day, the release added.
