Rewari (Haryana): In a shocking incident in the Lukhi village of Rewari district in Haryana, a step mother tried to kill 6-year-old girl. She, along with the grandfather of the child, left the child near the stream late in the night but she was later found by one of the elderly persons of the village.
Village panchayat has ordered the mother and grandfather to pay an amount of Rs 11,000 to the village temple which in turn will be used for the welfare and education of the child.
The police said the girl child has been handed over to the family.
