Purnia:
A Class IX student was beaten to death today by some men at Balutola locality under Kasba police station area in Bihar's Purnia district, police said.
Thinking him to be a thief, one Bhim Mahto and his men mercilessly beat up the student Roshan Kumar Kumar while he was returning home, the police said.
A badly injured Kumar was taken to the Sadar hospital where the attending doctors declared him brought dead, they said.
The death is being investigated, police said.
