Jodhpur:
Two students attacked a teacher with a knife in a school in Jodhpur. Police have registered a case against both the students and are investigating the matter.
According to reports,Mohammed Asif, teacher in Ummed School was standing in the school hall during the lunch break when the accused, identified as Azam and his friend Amir (a student of another school) attacked him (Asif) with a knife and fled away.
The injured teacher was rushed to a hospital. Later he lodged a complaint against the duo. Asif told police that he had scolded Azam while he was misbehaving in classroom and since then latter was annoyed with him. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused called his friend, who is a student of Mahila Bagh School, and attacked the teacher.
SHO Mangi Lal said that police have registered a case against the duo and have sent a team to nab the accused students, who are absconding. The condition of teacher is said to be normal.
