New Delhi:
The Supreme Court on Friday admitted a petition seeking action against lawyers who turned violent during police-lawyers clash at Madras High Court campus.
The apex court has issued notices to various bar associations of Tamil Nadu and to the state government.
A PIL filed by Vishwanath Swami has sought action against lawyers who indulged in violence at the Madras High Court campus. The PIL also said that neither the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu nor the Bar Council of India took any action against the errant lawyers.
