Alappuzha (Kerala):
About 50 children of a lower primary School at Vadakkal near Alappuzha were hospitalised in Monday with symptoms of food poisoning, but are reported to be out of danger.
According to hospital authorities, the condition of none of them was serious and they were being discharged after tests.
The problem was suspected to have been caused by milk given to them at the school, sources said.
The children of the aided school complained of uneasiness and stomach upset and some of them vomited after consuming milk.
