Indore:
A serial killer, suspected to be involved in as many as 19 murders in Madhya Pradesh, confessed to having killed four people on Tuesday, police said.
Sarman Shivhare has confessed of his involvement in the murders and two instances of robberies reported in Indore, a senior police official said.
Shivhare, who was brought to Indore for questioning by Panna Police in connection with the case, was taken to local Sarafa market where one Jabbu Jarida was killed and jewelery worth several lakhs robbed early this year, the official said.
According to police, 29-year-old Shivhare, a class XII dropout, had been committing murders for material gains for the last four years.
He was arrested from Satna district on July 25.
Shivhare and his accomplices would do a recce before committing the crime after identifying targets, police said, adding, thought he used to kill alone.
