Nashik: A 25-year-old man, who originally hails from Uttar Pradesh, was arrested for allegedly murdering his wife and two sons here, police said on Thursday.
Sheshman Mugdam Pal, a resident of Visapur in Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh, was nabbed on Wednesday, nearly two months after the crime which took place on January 8.
Pal, an industrial worker, resided in Panchavati area near here. He was working in Nashik for the last ten years.
Pal doubted his wife's fidelity, which would lead to frequent quarrel between them. After one such altercation on January 8, Pal strangled his wife and also killed his two minor sons, police said.
He later threw their bodies in a nullah from where they were recovered on Wednesday, police added.
