Bhopal:
With the death of five more persons, the H1N1 toll in Madhya Pradesh has risen to 52, health authorities said on Tuesday.
Four people died of the viral infection in Bhopal and one in Jabalpur in the last four days, authorities said.
Twenty two-year old Sangeeta Patel, 70-year old Anwar Jahan, 45-year old Shankar Singh and 44-year old Sheela Vyas from Bhopal and 30-year old Sumitra Vishwakarma from Jabalpur succumbed to the viral infection, officials said.
Twenty four persons have died of H1N1 in Bhopal alone, followed by 17 in Indore, nine in Jabalpur and one each in Gwalior and Harda district, authorities said.
Thirty patients with symptoms of Swine Flu were admitted to different hospitals on Monday.
