Tirupur, Tamil Nadu : The Tamil Nadu government has directed suspension of treatment at the private eye hospital in Dharapuram that is in the dock after seven people complained of loss of vision following cataract surgery. A medical investigation is on and results are expected in a few days.
The Lutheran Hospital blames it on infected medicine. Meanwhile the seven victims are being treated at the Aravind Eye Hospital in Coimbatore.
