A 30-year-old woman teacher at Delhi Public School in Bangalore was found murdered at her residence today, a top police official said.
Priyanka Gupta, wife of a senior Infosys employee, was found strangulated and her throat slit on a chair, Deputy Commissioner of Police(South West Division) B N S Reddy said.
Priyanka and Satish Kumar Gupta married three years ago and do not have any children.
Satish, in his complaint, said he went for a jog at 5.40 am while Priyanka was practising yoga. Sometime later she called him to say that two persons had come to the house and enquired if they could supply newspapers, but that she sent them away.
When he returned at 6.45 am, he found the door locked and no response from inside, despite ringing the bell.
He said he then went to Infosys to get the duplicate key from his locker. On opening the door, he found his wife murdered.
