Bangalore: A 13-year-old boy of foreign nationality died after falling from the seventh floor of a building here today, police said.
The deceased was identified as Alan Jan Vangen Barraza, the only child of a German father who is a professor in Germany and Chilean mother, police said.
The mishap occurred when Alan, a sixth standard student of an international school at Yelahanka, was playing on the seventh floor terrace of his apartment building on Cunnigham Road, they said.
The boy accidentally slipped and fell, they said, adding, he was immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
Alan had been residing with his mother Sandra Barraza in Bangalore for the past one year.
