In a shocking incident, a thirteen-year-old boy in Tamil Nadu was branded on his cheek by placing a hot iron.
The incident occurred after the victim refused to lift a heavy consignment at an electrical shop where he was working during his school vacation.
The boy was also allegedly subjected to electric shock by the owner of the shop.
The victim, a student of seventh standard, is being treated for burn injuries.
The police, meanwhile, has registered a case and is investigating the matter.
