Seoni (Madhya Pradesh):
A 17-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by four youths, police said on Friday.
The girl was abducted from near her residence in Lakhnadoun town and taken in a car to a field where she was sexually assaulted by them, they said adding that the incident took place on Thursday.
The victim managed to escape from their captivity when after committing the crime they were taking her back in the car which was stopped by the people following suspicion.
The girl then narrated the ordeal to her family members following which the matter was reported to the police.
A case was registered against Ashish Patel, Dharmendra Golhani, Siddharth Golhai and Kamlesh Nema, all residents of Lakhnadoun.
Police have arrested one of the accused youths, whose name was not disclosed, and launched a hunt to nab the remaining three.
