Thane:
Police have launched a hunt for the killers of a 40-year-old man, whose body was found in the sea.
Inspector Nandkishore Bhosle-Patil of Vasai Police Station today said the police spotted the body of the unidentified person off a jetty in Vasai near Thane on March 11.
The post-mortem report, received yesterday, indicated that the man died of strangulation after which his body was thrown into the sea, he added.
Police have registered a case related to murder and causing disappearance of evidence against unknown persons and launched a probe.
