Indore: With a 32-year-old woman at a local hospital testing positive for the H1N1 virus, the number of patients infected with swine flu in Indore this year has risen to three, an official said today.
The woman was admitted to a private hospital on August 18. Her swab samples were sent for testing which confirmed that she was suffering from swine flu, said Dr G L Sodhi, the district unit in-charge of Integrated Disease Surveillance Project (IDSP).
There has been a slight improvement in the woman's condition, he said.
This year, there have been three cases of swine flu in the district. The two other patients had earlier succumbed to the virus, Dr Sodhi said.
