An Air India flight bound for Dammam carrying 82 passengers returned shortly after take-off from the international airport on Wednesday evening as its tyre burst on landing, airport sources said.
All passengers and crew are safe, sources said.
The AI 915 Thiruvananthapuram-Dammam flight had 82 passengers on board besides crew members who were accommodated in hotels in the city after its cancellation, airport sources said.
The aircraft was pulled to the parking pay.
