Jaisalmer:
Three unidentified bodies, which have been buried since 2012, will be exhumed for postmortem, as per a High Court directive.
Following a letter from the Central Bureau of Investigation or CBI, in compliance with the high court directive, District Collector N L Meena has directed Chief Medical Officer and Health Officer to execute the order.
The bodies which were recovered from the Indira Gandhi canal in January 2012 were buried in Mohangarh area after they remained unidentified.
In a recent directive, the Rajasthan High Court ordered to conduct postmortem of the bodies after the families of three persons- who were allegedly abducted that time- requested the court for the same.
The case of abduction is being investigated by the CBI.
Meena today said that a letter from CBI was received so the directions to comply with the court order were given to the Chief Medical officer and the Health Officer.
