Three killed in car-tempo collision near Thane

Thane: Three persons from Mumbai were killed in a road accident near Thane, police said today.

The mishap, involving a car and a tempo, took place near village Valiw on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway yesterday.

The victims were travelling in the car which rammed into the tempo parked on the highway.

The deceased were identified as Sidddanth Shirdhar Gaikwad, Vijay Sitaram Sarvankar and Prasad Chirmal Waghmare.
