Vadodara:
Three persons were killed when a truck rammed into their stationary trailer truck at Poicha village near Vadodara on Ahmedabad-Mumbai Express highway today, police said.
"An over-speeding truck hit from behind the parked trailer truck carrying sheep in which the truck driver, cleaner and a labourer died on the spot and one person sustained injuries," police sub inspector Ashish Mahant said.
He said around 50 sheep were also killed in the mishap.
Bodies of the deceased, who are yet to be identified, are sent to SSG hospital in Vadodara for postmortem, while the injured person is admitted in a government hospital.
