Panaji:
Three tourists including two Americans were injured after a false ceiling came crashing down upon them at a hotel in Cavelossim village near Panaji. The injuries were not serious and the three discharged after first aid.
According to the local police, the incident took place at around 11.30 am at Haathi Mahal hotel.
"We are in the process of investigating and a case will be filed shortly. None of those injured are serious and all have been discharged," an officer of the Colva Police station said.
Cavelossim, some 70 km from Panaji, is a relatively virgin beach in south Goa that is preferred by tourists who seek peace and quiet.
