In a shocking incident, a toddler, left in a daycare in Kochi by his employed parents, was found dead in a nearby river today, police said.
One-and-a-half-year-old Madhav was last seen playing in the courtyard of the daycare centre at Kuttikkattukara at 2.30 pm, authorities of the centre informed police.
Later, the boy was found dead in Periyar river, flowing just 50-100 meters away from the daycare run by a convent, police said, adding investigations were on.
