Gujarat:
Five persons were killed and 35 others were injured as a truck carrying a marriage party overturned in Balasinore in Kheda district on Friday police said.
The incident took place near New Vasadra village after the truck developed some snag.
Four persons died on the spot, while one died during treatment at the government hospital in Balasinore. Of the 35 others who were injured, eight are reported to be critical. They have been shifted to Ahmedabad Civil hospital, police said.
The marriage party was going to Virpur taluka in the district from Pandva village in Balasinore. The deceased have been identified as Bharat Chauhan (14), Bhalabhai Chauhan (25), Kalabhai Chauhan (25), Rajesh Patelia(25) and Devendra Chauhan (9).
