Jaipur: A woman and a child were swept away by gushing water of a rain-swollen river in Rajasthan's Dholpur district on Monday.
Both were trying to cross a submerged road when they were swept away by the fast-flowing water of Parvati river, police said.
Rescue teams had been pressed into service to trace them, they said.
